Attorney General Bob McDonnell
Governor
Bob McDonnell is the 44th Attorney General of Virginia. As Attorney General, McDonnell has focused on policies that keep Virginia safe, strong, and prosperous. McDonnell has fulfilled his campaign pledges by enacting a 25-year mandatory minimum sentence for violent child sex predators, increasing penalties for drug dealers, protecting Virginians from terrorist threats, safeguarding private property rights, reducing frivolous lawsuits and making Virginia a national leader in combating internet crimes and identity theft.
Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling
Lieutenant Governor
As Lieutenant Governor, Bill Bolling has promoted a conservative legislative agenda that focuses on the things he believes in - keeping government small and focused on its core responsibilities, keeping taxes low for families and businesses, making certain that Virginia remains a great place to do business, and finding solutions to the challenges that face our state.
John Brownlee
Attorney General
Former U.S. Attorney John Brownlee has spent the last 20 years serving the citizens of Virginia and the United States. As a young military officer, John volunteered for the Infantry and successfully graduated from the Army's rigorous Airborne and Ranger programs. In 2001, President Bush appointed John as United States Attorney. As the top federal law enforcement official, John successfully prosecuted some of our nation's most corrupt corporations and dangerous criminals. As one of Virginia's leading crime fighters, John has earned the reputation as a tough prosecutor who knows how to keep our communities safe from violent criminals and drug dealers.
Senator Ken Cuccinelli
Attorney General
Ken Cuccinelli has been a member of the Virginia Senate since 2002. His experience as a small business owner and an attorney has uniquely prepared him for his role in the General Assembly where he serves on the influential Senate Courts of Justice Committee. Ken is also on the Transportation Committee, Local Government Committee, and the Rehabilitation and Social Services Committee. As a state senator, Ken Cuccinelli has led the fight to defend constitutional rights, stop tax increases, protect life and families, and keep Virginia a low-regulation and pro-business state.
Dave Foster
Attorney General
Dave Foster began his career working for conservative Congressman Bob Daniel, Jr. of Virginia's 4th Congressional District. In 1996, he was the Arlington County Chairman for Senator John Warner's campaign. In 2007, he was the chairman of GOPAC-Virginia, which provided training and raised money for Republican candidates throughout the entire state. He's a 25-year member of the Arlington Republican Committee and was elected twice county wide to the Arlington School Board. As chairman, he successfully stood up for conservative values in a county dominated by Democrats, cutting debt, improving school safety, ending racial preferences in school assignments, and opposing bilingual education.
Delegate Scott Lingamfelter
House of Delegates- 31st District
A father of three, a decorated combat veteran and husband to a public school teacher, Scott Lingamfelter is deeply involved in making Prince William a better place to call home. During his time in Richmond Scott has kept his promises to work to reform government, fight for family-friendly legislation, and promote economic growth for Virginia businesses. Scott has also taken the lead on fighting for such issues as lowering taxes and getting and cutting wasteful government spending, controlling illegal immigration, reforming and improving education, promoting public safety, protecting human life and access to health care, among others.
Delegate Joe May
House of Delegates- 33rd District
In 1993, Joe was elected as a Republican to the Virginia House of Delegates representing the 33rd District. He currently serves as Chairman of the House Transportation Committee, is a member on the House Appropriations Committe, where he chairs a subcommitte on Transportation , and is a member of the General Government and Technology and Higher Education subcommittees. He is also a member of the Science and Technology Committee. He also chairs the Joint Commission on Technology and Science (JCOTS) and the Joint Commission on Transportation Accountability which will serve as a "watch dog" group over VDOT. Joe also serves on the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission, the Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin and the Virginia Research and Technology Advisory Commission. He recently was named by the Governor to serve on the Governor's Commission on Climate Change.
Delegate Tim Hugo
House of Delegates- 40th District
Del. Timothy D. Hugo, named as one of Washington Business Forward's Top 40 rising stars was recently appointed the Executive Director of the Free File Alliance. In 2002, Del. Hugo was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates (with almost 70% of the vote) to represent his district in the fast-growing Centreville area of Northern Virginia. Currently, he serves the Virginia legislature as a member of the Transportation, Finance, Science and Technology, and Commerce and Labor committees, and Chairs a Finance and Commerce and Labor Sub-Committee.
Delegate David Albo
House of Delegates- 42nd District
Dave Albo has served his constituents in the House of Delegates since 1993 and has written and passed some of Virginia's most important legislation in the past 15 years. Delegate Dave Albo's bills and work build roads and rail, make us safe from criminals, lower our taxes, improve our schools and preserve our environment.
Delegate Tom Rust
House of Delegates- 86th District
As successful businessman and former Mayor of Herndon, Tom Rust has the background and experience to get things done. Though only serving as our Delegate for just a few short years, Tom is already recognized as one of the most effective legislators in the Virginia General Assembly, gaining high marks from the nonpartisan Virginia Foundation for Research and Economic Education (Virginia Free).
Delegate Phil Hamilton
House of Delegates- 93rd District
During the 2008 session, Del. Hamilton was the chief patron of significant legislation, including, but not limited to, mental health law reform; the Higher Educational Institutions Bond Act of 2008; initiatives to enhance health insurance coverage; liability protection for health care providers responding to disasters; the
definition of professional services for medical malpractice; improvements to the state's Medical Facilities Plan; and Certificate of Public Need (COPN) application criteria.
