Frequently Asked Questions

How will my contribution be used?

A: 2010 Chairman's Advisory Council contributions will be used to fund the RPV Grassroots Plan in 2010, including regional field staff, the RPV Get-Out-The Vote Program (GOTV), and Election Day Operations (EDO). The RPV is the only organization in the Commonwealth of Virginia that will work to identify Republican voters and turn them out to the polls this November. Your contribution will have a direct effect on our ability to return Virginia to the hands of conservatives.

How does this contribution effect my limits with regard to Federal Campaign Finance Laws?

 A. A contribution to the 2010 Advisory Council will be deposited into RPV's Federal Account unless we are directed to do otherwise. An individual may contribute up to $10,000 per calendar year to the RPV's Federal Account. Should you be interested in a contributing a sum greater than $10,000, RPV will deposit the amount more than $10,000 to our Non-Federal Account. For further clarification on contribution limits please contact Frank Loehr at floehr@rpv.org.

Volunteer Grassroots Plan

Regional Field Staff

RPV has several full time field staff to work for Victory in 2010. The RPV Grassroots Team is responsible for recruiting volunteers and managing campaign activity throughout the Commonwealth.

Get-Out-The-Vote

It is the responsibility of the RPV staff and volunteers to identify Republican voters and ensure they get to the polls in November. Additionally, RPV staff and volunteers will work to register new Republicans to vote and conduct an aggressive Absentee Ballot Program to ensure all Republican voices are heard. This effort will include thousands of volunteers, millions of phone calls and millions of pieces of literature.

With your help we can bring home a victory in 2010 for all Republican candidates. Your investment in the RPV never stops paying dividends. The Republican Party of Virginia is the only constant in a world of variables for every new GOP candidate in the Commonwealth of Virginia. RPV provides the infrastructure and resources for a well executed grassroots movement - this is the only way to guarantee victory for GOP candidates at all levels.

Election Day Operations

The EDO program works in conjunction with the GOTV program. While the goal of the GOTV is to push Republicans to the polls, the EDO program will manage Election Day phone banks, train and place poll-watchers in key locations and field complaints of voter fraud and intimidation.
