Official Call for a Mass Meeting of the Caroline County Republican Committee

Mass Meeting
of Caroline County Republican Committee
of the Republican Party of Virginia

As Chairman of the Caroline County Republican Committee of the Republican Party, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Jeff Sili, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held at the Caroline County Courthouse, 123 N. Main Street, Bowling Green, starting at 7 p.m. local time on January 25th for the following purposes:
1) Electing a Unit Chairman;
2) Electing members of the Unit Committee
and for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the mass meeting.
Qualifications for Participation
All legal and qualified voters of Caroline County under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, regardless of race, religion, national origin or sex, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party and who, if requested, express in open meeting either orally or in writing as may be required, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election, may participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in its mass meetings, party canvasses, conventions or primaries encompassing their respective election districts.
Filing Requirements
Candidates for the election of a unit chairman shall file a written statement by mail or in person, with a registration fee of $500.00 (non-refundable) to Elizabeth Devita, 148 S. Main Street, Bowling Green, Va 22427 which must be received not later than January 21, 2010 at 6 p.m.. If only one candidate properly files, then said candidate shall be declared the chairman and no mass meeting will be held.
There is no required registration fee to participate in the mass meeting. A voluntary contribution of $10.00 is requested.
