Official Call for a Legislative District Party Canvass of the 26th House District of the Republican Party of Virginia
As Chairman of the 26th House District Committee of the Republican Party, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Joel Hensley, do hereby issue this call for a Legislative District Party Canvass to be held at Lacey Springs Elementary School, 8621 North Valley Pike, Harrisonburg, VA 22802 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm local time on April 20, 2010 for the purposes of: nominating a Republican candidate for the office of DELEGATE to be voted for in the SPECIAL election in the 26th House District.

Is Senator Webb trying to have it both ways on health care?
Sen. Jim Webb appears to be taking a page out of John Kerry's playbook, as in "I voted for it before I voted against it." It seems like Webb will vote with his party's power brokers to move the monstrous health care bill toward a final vote, before he is given permission to vote against it on final passage. Because of Senate rules, Democrats need every one of their 60 votes to advance the bill, but only 51 to pass it. Will Webb try to have it both ways?
