RPV Chairman Mullins: America needs jobs, not political posturing
-- Obama decision to kill Keystone XL more proof that we can't afford four more years --
--Tim Kaine stands by his good friend instead of fighting for Virginia --
RPV Chairman Pat Mullins gave the following statement:
"President Obama tries to look like he is working hard to fix the economy, but today's decision is more evidence that he doesn't have the same priorities as the people of Virginia. We needs jobs, yet the current occupant of the White House has no problem throwing 20,000 jobs on the fire just to help his re-election efforts," Mullins said.
"President Obama's decision - and Tim Kaine's silence - make it clear that our country simply can't afford four more years of Barack Obama, or six years of Tim Kaine in the U.S. Senate," Mullins said.
"This is yet just another example of how Tim Kaine will stand by Barack Obama, even though his policies have a detrimental impact on the people of Virginia. "
"Virginians needs more jobs, not more political posturing," he said. "Sadly, that's all Barack Obama and Tim Kaine have to offer."
