McAuliffe: I'm the Chairman, But I Don't Make Decisions
Terry McAuliffe has a problem. He likes to claim credit for the good things that his company, GreenTech Automotive, have promised. Like the 1,500 jobs Terry says his company's plant will create.
But when it comes time to answer tough questions - such as questions about just who at GreenTech decided to build his company's factory in Mississippi, rather than Virginia, someone else entirely is on the hook.
"Listen, the folks who were in charge of moving it, they had many meetings down there. How you decide to move a plant comes down to incentives and what you need to do. They made the decision, the company made the decision, to go there."
